Jeffrey Palmquist

Jeffrey is originally from a small town in South Dakota, learning very early on the value of good relationships and the importance of networking with people. Graduating from Dakota Wesleyan University, Jeffrey spent years as a certified athletic trainer and high school teacher. He made his first trip to New Orleans in 1989 and from that point he knew he would one day call the city home. Now, a resident of the French Quarter, New Orleans has been home for 25 years. “The people, the architecture, the culture and the city’s “soul” are just a few of the many reasons New Orleans is the greatest city in the world.”

Jeffrey has been a bartender at Café Lafitte in Exile for 22 years and a licensed real estate agent, he is also very active in the New Orleans Community serving with many different boards and groups. He was named Southern Decadence Grand Marshal XLII in 2016, The Krewe du Rue Royale Revelers Grand Reveler I and 2019 Winter Wonderland King, Jeffrey has also co-authored two books relating to LGBTQ+ history in New Orleans. As you can imagine, his network of people reaches beyond New Orleans, around the nation and world!!!
