Real Estate Agent

Dan Gunther grew up in a military family. He was born in Rhode Island and lived in six states before starting middle school. Dan began high school on the coast of Mississippi and graduated on the coast of Maine. After studying Literature and Education at The University of Southern Mississippi and Louisiana University, Dan spent 8 years as an educator in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.

After teaching, Dan spent fourteen years as the confidential secretary and house manager for a Southern Lady in the French Quarter. That experience provided Dan with a unique perspective of luxury living and heightened his appreciation for historic property as well as fine arts and antiques. His duties included care of a range of properties from Lake Charles to New Orleans, from Manhattan to Beverly Hills and from Sun Valley, Idaho to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. During that time, Dan lived Uptown and in the French Quarter giving him practical knowledge of two of New Orleans' most popular neighborhoods. During the summer Dan spends time at his home in Honesdale, PA, a small town nestled between the Pocono and Catskill Mountains not far from the Delaware River. For Christmas he travels to London enjoying time with friends and taking advantage of cultural activities-including the shops and pubs not just museums and the theatre.

Whether you are looking to buy or sell a French Quarter pied-a-terre, a condominium with a river view, a bungalow in the historic neighborhoods, a classic beauty in Uptown, a planter's home on River Road or something in-between, Dan is available to assist with your real estate business needs.
