A look at the highest- and lowest-priced homes sold in the metro area

The highest- and lowest-priced homes sold in the New Orleans region last week are Orleans Parish properties.
600 Gov. NichollsThe highest-priced sale was 600 Gov. Nicholls St., which sold for $2.3 million, or $462.50 a square foot. The approximately 160-year-old, three-story home features 4,973 square feet of living area, one bedroom and three bathrooms.

The lowest-priced sale was 1620 Rousselin St., which sold for $10,000, or $5.87 a square foot. The approximately 75-year-old, one-story home on a 31-by-105-foot lot features 1,704 square feet of living area, five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lorraine Landry, of Jolie Orleans Realty, was the listing agent. Caroline Mang, of Latter & Blum Inc./Realtors, was the selling agent. A look at the highest- and lowest-priced homes sold in the metro area

An Uptown home was the highest-priced house to sell in the metro area last week, while a Lower 9th Ward home was the lowest-priced sale.

4718 ST. Charles Avenue

The highest-priced sale was 4718 St. Charles Ave., which sold for $1.65 million, or $312.80 a square foot.

The approximately 130-year-old, two-story home on a 100-by-200-foot lot features approximately 5,275 square feet of living area, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Ernesto Caldeira, of Dorian Bennett Sotheby’s International Realty, was the listing agent. John Weil, of Latter & Blum Inc./Realtors, was the selling agent.

The 9th Ward home, at 1228 Tennessee St., sold for $11,500, or $10 a square foot.

The approximately 50-year-old, one-story home on a 50-by-80-foot lot features approximately 1,150 square feet of living area, three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Althea Castille, of Coldwell Banker TEC Realtors, was the listing and selling agent.
